The definite articles in
Portuguese are O for the masculine form and A for the feminine one.
In English, our
definite article is the word THE, as in the word, denoting a
specific one.
Indefinite articles
in English are A and AN and SOME, used in an object or
a
book and some pictures, used in plural.
In Portuguese there
are UM and UMA (singular) and UNS and UMAS (plural)
